Factory Schools are held at Doosan Portable Power, 1293 Glenway Drive, Statesville, North Carolina 28625.  The cost is $500.00 per student ( all John Deere Classes add $325.00 for on line modules) with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 students per class. There must be at least 6 students enrolled, or the class may be cancelled.

     How much do Field Schools cost?

Field schools cost $575.00 per student with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 students per class.  There is a minimum training charge of $3450.00 per class, if less than 6 students attend.

     Can you provide special request training?

Special request training can be arranged and  will be charged at the same rates as Field Schools, depending on location of the training.

     Is there a Cancellation Policy?

There is no penalty for cancelling a student’s seat anytime up to the day before a class

starts. However, there is a no-show penalty of $100.00 that will be invoiced to the

company that fails to cancel a student’s reservation. John Deere Modules that have

been started will not be refunded.

     Can we use Co-op Dollars for training?

Training

(1)   Travel expenses (hotel/airfare) and registration fees for Sales and Service training sponsored by Doosan Infracore – Portable Power on Ingersoll Rand branded products are eligible for Co-Op reimbursement (please see Co-Op manual) .  Training sessions should be discussed with and approved in writing by your District Manager. The District Manager will communicate this information to Natasha Witherspoon.

Documentation Requirements

Requests for training co-op reimbursement require the following documentation:

                                            i.    Training must be paid for in advance.  Invoice(s) containing dates and details of charges is required. Cancelled checks may not be substituted for an invoice.

                                           ii.    A copy of the training agenda must be submitted.

                                          iii.    Include a completed Co-op Reimbursement Request Form*.

                                          iv.    (* Co-op reimbursement request form attached at end of document.)

     When should I arrive for factory training in Statesville?

You should arrive at the training location the day before the course starts to ensure training begins on time.  Unless notified otherwise, training begins at 8:00 AM.

     What hotels are available in Statesville?

There are numerous hotels in the Statesville, NC area (see last page of training schudule for a list of hotels).

     Where do I fly into to go to school in Statesville and how do I get there from the airport?

You can fly into either Charlotte, NC (CLT) or Greensboro, NC (GSO) and rental cars from

various vendors are available at both airports.  Individuals are responsible for providing

their own transportation to and from class.

     Who is responsible for my travel arrangements?

You must make your own visa and flight arrangements.  These must be made well in advance of the course date.

  What am I required to wear for class?

Service uniform (or equivalent) or Business Casual. Safety glasses and protective footwear, such as steel toe shoes, must be worn when working with machinery.

  How do I register for class?

First you must have your manager’s approval and you can register by submiting a registration form from the training bulletin which can be faxed to 704-883-3760.
