 Course Outlines

 

 

Air Compressors

This class will provide a sufficient level of knowledge to

operate and perform maintenance, repairs, adjustments,

diagnostics and basic troubleshooting of Doosan Portable

Power P90 thru HP1600 air compressors, including XHP

models. The student should have basic knowledge of air

compressors, diesel engines, and electrical systems, and

possess diagnostic skills.

 

 

 

Generator Set and Light Towers

This course is for the individual who is responsible for the

maintenance and repair of Doosan Portable Power mobile generator

sets. The individual must have and possess good diagnostic skills and

have experience with electrical systems and generator sets. The

course will provide in-depth classroom and hands-on training for the

various mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems used on

Doosan Portable Power’s mobile generator sets, with emphasis being

placed on the differences in each model of generator and light tower

set.

 

Diesel Engines

 

The course covers all Tier 3 and 4i

engines as well as the use of “John Deere’s Service Advisor” with electronic engines. Additionally

the course will provide a sufficient level of knowledge to perform operation, maintenance, repairs,

adjustments, diagnostics and troubleshooting of IR Branded/John Deere engines.

 

The course size is limited to 12 students.

 

Prerequisites: Each student must have a valid email address in order to be enrolled and must

complete several online training modules two weeks prior to attending the class. Also this course

requires that the student possess at a minimum a basic knowledge of diesel engines and good

diagnostic skills. (Upon enrollment each student will be contacted via email with instructions for

completing all online training modules.)

 

 

 

 

Truck-Mounted Equipment

 

This class provides a sufficient level of knowledge to perform installations of hydraulic module

compressors. Time is divided to approximately 15% classroom and 85% hands-on in the shop

concentrating on above-deck hydraulic modules. Additionally, sufficient understanding of properly

locating and connecting components such as hydraulic filters, tanks, and electrical accessories,

aligning driveline components, and interfacing with the truck cooling system and electronics to

perform similar installations at the dealer/distributor location will be provided. The participant

should have a basic understanding of work trucks, transmissions and hydraulics, as well as a basic

understanding of compressed air.

 

 

Blackhawk MVS6

 

This course is required for the sale and service of the Blackhawk MVS6

and prepares the individual for the deployment, operation, maintenance

and trouble- shooting of the unit. The individual who is responsible for

the operation, maintenance and repair of the Blackhawk MVS6 must

possess good diagnostic skills, and have experience with the following

systems: computer, wireless radio, and electrical. The course will

provide in-depth classroom and hands on training for the various

mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems used on the Blackhawk

MVS6.
