STATESVILLE, N.C. — Doosan Portable Power participated in the first-ever benefit auction at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) held Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 in Louisville, Kentucky. Doosan Portable Power donated a C185G portable air compressor, which received a top bid of $7,500. The winning bid was placed by John Lindeman, owner of Aquaman Irrigation, a lawn and landscape irrigation business based in South Lyon, Michigan.
STATESVILLE, N.C. — Doosan Portable Power employees have recently participated in the “Doosan Day of Community Service” — a company-wide volunteer effort that celebrates ongoing partnerships with communities in North America where Doosan Infracore companies do business. Doosan Portable Power is proud to have participated in the event to help make a positive impact in the Statesville, North Carolina, community.
In 2011, Doosan Portable Power began a new business initiative. After doing market research, the company found that at times dealers and National Rental Accounts wanted the option to purchase remanufactured portable compressors rather than new ones.
During the week of September 27, the Doosan Portable Power team in Statesville, N.C., participated in a local breast cancer awareness event by displaying pink light towers in its front lawn, which is visible from two major interstate highways. This display was part of an effort by Susan G. Komen for the Cure and CREW Charlotte (Commercial Real Estate Women) to decorate the city of Charlotte and surrounding regions in pink. The event was called the Queen City in Pink and led into Charlotte’s Race for the Cure event on October 4.

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Doosan Portable Power is donating a vibratory plate compactor to the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Auction which will be held at World of Concrete 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. Both a silent and live auction are scheduled for Wednesday, January 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the live auction will begin at 1 p.m.

The auction is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11 at 5:00 p.m. and is held in conjunction with The Rental Show 2014 in Orlando, Fla.
