Power University training boosts confidence and sales

12/08/2016

Want to get ahead of the competition? Power University training offers all you need. Sessions include detailed product information, hands-on experience with machines, plus market insights to help you sell against the competition. Power University training is conducted by Doosan Portable Power product managers who are experts on Doosan air compressors, generators and light towers.

Here’s what attendees from the most recent session said about the advantages of the hands-on, instructor-led training — and what you can expect to gain.

Kelvin Whipple, product support manager, Pape Rents
Training is essential to success, and I was very impressed with Power U. training. The product managers are passionate about the product offerings and answered every question asked. Having all the product managers participate in the training really sets Doosan Portable Power apart.

Casey Symonds, general manager, Ultraquip LLC
Having spent 15 years in the rental business, I’m quite familiar with Doosan air compressors; but learning about the dual pressure/dual flow units was the highlight of this class. We found the generator training very interesting as well. The classes were informative and the material was presented in a manner that made it easy to understand and digest. The competition comparison was better than I have seen before, and it gave us a better understanding of the selling aspects of the Doosan products versus the other brands. Regardless of your knowledge level, there is information for everyone at this training.

Michael Douglas, governmental sales representative, Penn Jersey Machinery
Power U. was one of the better training sessions I have attended. The product demonstrations and walk-arounds of each product were very helpful. Also being able to physically use all the products was both educational and fun. I would recommend the training because it teaches you a lot about the products and instills more confidence when talking about the Doosan Portable Power line.

Brody Watson, account manager, ASC Construction Equipment
Getting hands-on experience with the different product lines was a huge step toward a solid foundation of sales-based product knowledge. Having the opportunity to speak with each product manager allowed for thorough and specific information to be discussed. Instead of just learning what was on a specification sheet, we were able to discuss the reasons that a machine was built to those specs. I learned enough at Power U. to effectively discuss Doosan Portable Power with any potential customers that I may encounter.
