STATESVILLE, N.C. - Doosan Portable Power has introduced four new diesel generator models designed for versatility in rental, construction and specialty applications. The four models are targeted to meet the diverse market needs within the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions where rapid growth in mining, oil and gas exploration, and construction is driving the need for rugged and reliable portable power solutions.
The models include:
• The G90WCU-1E-T1, with a prime power rating at 90 kVA/72 kW
• The G125WCU-1E-T2, with a prime power rating at 125 kVA/100 kW
• The G200WCU-1E-T1, with a prime power rating at 200 kVA/160 kW
• The G315WCU-1E-T2, with a prime power rating at 315 kVA/252 kW
All four Doosan generators have been designed with several important features including noise reduction, safety, ease of operation and easy access to frequent maintenance points. The models feature Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cummins turbocharged engines and Leroy-Somer alternators and are manufactured in Doosan Portable Power’s new facility near Shanghai, China, with the same quality and dependability standards of Doosan generators built in the U.S.
Rugged, durable enclosure design
The rugged enclosure design suppresses generator noise, making these generators ideal for special events, urban construction and other applications that require low noise levels. These noise attenuation features reduce sounds levels significantly to ensure quiet operation, while the innovative air-intake design helps repel debris; keeping dirt from entering the generator in extreme environments and ensuring performance even in high ambient temperatures.

The user-friendly operator-preferred analog control panel features large brightly lit LED indicators for clarity and simplified diagnostics. Positioning of gauges provides at-a-glance monitoring of all generator operations. The one-push start-stop button allows operators to safely control and operate the unit with minimal training. Remote start-stop control is standard — a feature especially useful for standby or emergency applications.
Engineered for safety
All G90, G125, G200 and G315 generators feature an external emergency stop button, clearly visible and easily accessible, allowing the operator to cease generator operation instantly if necessary. The central lifting point design of the units makes hoisting generators safe and balanced.
Maintenance made easy
Special consideration for maintenance has been incorporated into the design of each generator, highlighted by two large access doors on each side of the package that provide unobstructed access to frequent maintenance points. Easy access helps increase productivity and jobsite efficiency, and ensures that daily maintenance is completed as scheduled, helping extend generator life and usefulness. The generators are equipped with fuel tanks designed for at least 12 hour runtime, ensuring full shift operation before refueling.
